Oh God my legs.

Made my first attempt at running yesterday in over a year, and my legs now feel like the finest jell-o puddin’. Feel good, though. I’m partially motivated by the fact that my father-in-law is thirty years older than me but can run an entire marathon with no problems.

I got home, fed and walked the dogs, realized there was probably 20 minutes of sunlight left, and decided it would be stupid if I didn’t take advantage of it. The goal is to run three times a week, do resistance training to get my shoulder fixed on the off days, and rest on The Lord’s Day. The good news is that I probably have three months before anybody is going to be seeing me with my shirt off.
